So here’s to that.
When you walk alone, feeling lost. Clouds surround you, you feel your existence is getting insignificant by the day. But you know, eventhough it’s far, out of your reach, beyond your imagination, you still know. You still believe that there’s a light outside the thick fog.
When you feel like falling down, you know someone, somewhere, someplace, is observing you and is thinking of you. Is dreaming of you. Is hoping and waiting for your presence. So you keep walking. You keep the light burns inside your heart.
When you feel all the walls are about to crush and the weight will instantly hit you and take your soul. Yet you keep your spirit floats by the thought of slim possibilities, of the happiest wonders that you have created in your own world.
You know. You know somehow.
So, here it is. Let’s clink all the glass to all the shattered dreams and lively souls. We all are together in this.

The moon is on my side, I have no reason to run
So will someone come and carry me home tonight
The angels never arrived, but I can hear the choir
so will someone come and carry me homeTonight we are young so let’s set the world on fire
we can burn brighter than the sun
Amour
“I think we should break up.”
“I think so, too. ‘Variety is the spice of life’ they say, what a sweet lie.”
“Apparently it can’t be applied in relationship.”
“Maybe it can. Just not in ours.”
“Maybe. But it would be even more boring if we have the same interest.”
“I guess. So…, friends?”
“Nah. You’ll always have a special place in my heart.”
“That’s funny because I can’t picture you as a friend either. But I’m fine picturing you with another man, as long as you’re happy.”
“You’re more than a friend to me. More than a boyfriend, I don’t what to call you.”
“A loyal companion, perhaps? That’s what you are to me.”
“Is that what you want?”
“Come to think of it…, how about a loyal—and maybe occasionally, a lusty companion?”
“I’d like that.”
Phantom II by Justice.
I first heard this song a year ago when I was watching a video from one of my favorite vloggers from New Zealand, he played this song in the background while he was dancing like crazy. And I couldn’t stop humming it ever since. And weeks after that, as I was watching one of my favorite UK TV series, Misfits, they played this song as the stars were dancing to the beat like there’s no tomorrow. Hooked is not even the right word to describe it, this song is just too fantastic.
Justice are a French electronic music duo consisting of Gaspard Augé (born 21 May 1979 in Besançon) and Xavier de Rosnay (born 2 July 1982 in Ozoir-la-Ferrière). The duo was one of the most successful groups on Ed Banger Records and was managed by the label’s head, Pedro Winter. Justice was known for incorporating a strong rock and indie influence into their music and image.
Their debut album † was released in June 2007 to critical acclaim. The album was later nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Electronic/Dance Album and came in at number 15 on Pitchfork’s Top 50 Albums of 2007 and number 18 on Blender’s ”25 Best Albums of 2007” list. It was nominated for the 2007 Shortlist Prize, losing out to The Reminder by Feist. Their remix of the MGMT song “Electric Feel” won the Grammy Award for Best Remixed Recording, Non-Classical in 2009.
The Cribs - Victim of Mass Production
Well he’s a creature without a care except for the fact that he’ll only wear the things he sees in magazines, he is a victim of mass production.
I was brought up with my own beliefs and well, I prided myself on being free but the powers-that-be invaded me, looking for some weapons of mass destruction.
The first time that I met my mate was in a building that houses the things I hate, but she seemed to feel the things I feel. She is the object of my affection.
I never thought that you’d care, I can’t believe that you’re still living there, but you’ll always be the last who sees you are a victim of mass production.
Well I’ve seen it all before but that’s not for me to say, we’ll live, we’ll die, we’ll never say goodbye cause we’re not supposed to be here anyway.
-Tchaikovsky - Piano Concerto 1 - B Flat Minor
I only know Tchaikovsky - The Sleeping Beauty, first heard it when I was 7 years old thanks to Disney’s Sleeping Beauty. I remember how romantic that song is.
Yesterday I decided to YouTube the song, found it and played it several times. I also found Tchaikovsky - Klavierkonzert Nr. 1, fell in love with the song immediately. I don’t know, I feel the softness of its melody; his feeling and heart, it’s so romantic I can’t even explain. You know how you can straight away connect with one or two particular song(s) and your heart and feeling react to the song and give you a certain emotion? That’s how I feel, I feel the song is romantic, tragic, sad, and moving.
Chevaliers de Sangreal (ost. Angels and Demons) - Hans Zimmer
Do you know how some song triggers you to have a soliloquy moment? This one is no exception.
“This is the truth. Are you afraid?”
“Truth doesn’t scare me, it keeps me alive. Lying scares me though, the way it multiplies itself into a lot of different branches in a matter of second, we don’t even know where’s the exact root is.”
“Truth doesn’t set you free though, it merely gives you wings to fly, but it doesn’t liberate you to become the new and improved you.”
“Lying is no different. You can’t cover a lie with another lie, or truth with a lie, and vice versa.”
“Two words with, ironically enough, similar function.”
“Distorted truth, authentic lie. Fair enough.”
An honest song about unrequited love; I keep picturing a guy who’s always looking at his crush from far, he probably knows and is in love with everything about her, but no matter how hard he tried, the girl doesn’t notice him; or maybe he’s just not her type.
But it’s also about forbidden love, maybe the girl already has boyfriend but she keeps flirting with him, leading him in, but doesn’t want to break up with her current boyfriend. The guy in the song knows she’s selfish, but he’s really in love with her so he’ll do anything to make her happy even if it means he can’t be with her in public like couples do. Either way, this song makes me feel all mushy inside.
A Ghost by Landon Pigg
You cannot hug a shadow’s neck, you cannot kiss a shilhouette, but I’ve done both time and time again. You reel me in like rain on a tin roof. When I open the door to let you in, you are not there. The sky is clear, there’s not a cloud in sight.
Am I believing in a ghost? Am I wishing on a star? Am I loving you the most because I can’t be where you are?
And am I wishing you were here because I know you cannot be? Am I going crazy, dear?
Your secret eyes, they touch my skin. I wish that I could pretend, but as you know that really ain’t my field. I sit around, looking much too serious and I stand still, lay in dark period but all the day will fly away.
Am I believing in a ghost? Am I wishing on a star? Am I loving you the most because I can’t be where you are?
And am I wishing you were here because I know you cannot be? Am I going crazy, dear, to let you get the best of me?
