Waiting a phone call from somebody. Waiting for an order in a fast food restaurant. Waiting for your favorite movie. Waiting in line. Waiting for your friend. Waiting a call after applying a job. Waiting a call from an institute where you applied a scholarship. Waiting your stomach to digest your food. Waiting for buses. Waiting your boyfriend to pick you up. Waiting an answer to whatever question...

Why I kissed her on a lips of Runt? And now all I taught my eyes to, is Runt I...
– - Pig/Darrin’s monologue in Disco Pigs, played by Cillian Murphy.
Disco Pigs is a story about two young people, they’re the bestest friend. They’ve been through everything together since they were babies. They grew up together. But little did Runt/Sinead know, Pig/Darrin is...

If a Dog Were Your Teacher →
by REBECCA on DECEMBER 31, 2005 in ANIMAL STORIES
If a dog were your teacher, you would learn stuff like: When loved ones come home, always run to greet them. Never pass up the opportunity to go for a joyride. Allow the experience of fresh air and the wind in your face to be pure ecstasy. When it’s in your best interest, practice obedience. Let others know when they’ve invaded your territory....

Simply Complicated
X: Sometimes I think life isn't worth living. Especially when you feel like you've pushed so many effort and hard work to achieve your dream goal and nothing happens. No dream came true. That's when I think we all need luck. Lots of it.
Y: Maybe because the dream goal of yours isn't what you really need in your life, you only want it just because. Luck has nothing to do with life.
X: Really? And you can say all that because you've been through so much? Because you know how it feels like to be on top and then fall down the lowest stage of life; because you've helped so many people yet there's nobody to catch you when you fall; because you've been hurt and betrayed million times over and nobody doesn't even care what you feel or why are you sad; really, you can say all that because you've been through deepest and scariest life experience? When you have no money at all, you don't know if you can get through tomorrow because you don't have enough money to buy something to eat, you have any idea how that feels?
Y: Well no. But I think misery is subjective.
X: Oh, so that wasn't something worth contemplating? That wasn't misery? That was just, what? Drama queen's rants?
Y: No, but I think everybody has had their share of bad luck, their worst nightmare, hopeless and most painful experience in life. That's why we often don't care about anybody else, because we know we can only count on ourselves.
X: Do you realize how often you contradict yourself? How you always thrive to sound all wise? True what you say though, people don't need luck in their life. IF they know how to kiss someone's ass, then they'll live happily ever after.
Y: Well, you always sound bitter. That's why we're good. You balance my wise-ass attitude with your bitterness. I'm more of an optimist.
X: Do you know what Don Marquis said about an optimist? "An optimist is a guy that has never had much experience." And do you know what he said about a pessimist? "A pessimist is a person who has had to listen to too many optimists." I'm a good pessimist then.
Y: I'm a realistic optimist.
X: You're a hopeless snob.
Y: You're a helpless quitter.
X: Tell me something, how do you get up when someone keeps pushing you down just when you're about to get up?
Y: You push that someone away.
X: How do you prepare for a future that doesn't exist?
Y: How do you know the future doesn't exist? Don't we live for the future?
X: Let me rephrase, how do you keep yourself sane when you know you have no future because whatever you do is not good enough and people keep pushing you down as you're trying to get up because they feel threatened by your existence and ideas? Honesty has no value in this world, I even begin to think why such word exists.
Y: You know I'll always be there for you no matter what, right? Go ahead, throw all your negativity about life to me, I still won't go. That's me being honest. You know what you are? You're the kind of person who goes around and says, "Deserves to die? Of course everybody deserves it, we all will die eventually, right? But does that person deserve to live?"
X: Nicely phrased.

Wikileaks
So this morning I received an e-mail from Gawker, saying that there has been a security breach on their site and that all comments, including username, password, and e-mail were released on the internet. I forgot which Gawker or maybe Jezebel article I commented on but I’m pretty sure it’s not important. I think I was commenting on a Mad Men article. Here’s the excerpt of the...

Rubah, Pohon, dan Manusia Mungil
Aku menjilati buluku. Salju turun semakin lebat. Begitu dingin. Layaknya manusia.
Aku kembali menjilati buluku,...
